Fools day out

A Fool’s Day Out on April 1st

April 1st.

We all know what that means right? April fools day! Sadly we were not able to do some trolling anywhere which is sad. But my 2nd family and I with my sister went to WalMart (still wishing it was BuyMore). Ate a this Pizza joint called Jack’s Dough and did some grocery shopping at Sam’s Club, which is still WalMart to my knowing.y

Here I decided to play around with the hot sauce and fake grass that was just beside my seat at the Restaurant. ^_^

This is the view from outside Jack’s Dough. That is a lot of cars… I still wish that those were Nerd Herd cars though.

This is my Father and his wife Renee, trolling around while waiting for the food to arrive.

Finally our Jack Dough pizza arrives! Layers upon LAYERS of CHEEZY goodness! Can you see how absolutely SINFUL this is? The BEST PIZZA in BEIJING YET!

After eating we went to the grocery to get some stuff.

Here is my sister and I lounging around the outdoor equipment area.
I think we have a promising career path as Buy More Employees. We can slack around quite professionally. ^_^

I have to apologize for all the CHUCK jargon and references. You see we are all fans of this series and we secretly (or not) want to be able to make sure the Family of CHUCK NBC stays with us wherever and whenever. So I am proud to say that CHUCK lives in my heart, and my loyalties lie in the beautiful place called BuyMoria!

Okay I am being really weird.

anyway.

There is one photo I was not able to post in this entry because I had already posted it on my jux.com account. So get your butts over there! :)

Red Velvet Therapy

2nd post in a row. I am so backlogged in posts here at Behind Krystle Lane, I have been really busy with Thinspirational Journey blogs that I didn’t have the time to update my own personal blog. But no matter, I’m here now and this is the second post for the day. :)

After my Day out with SlyS,  a fellow Aetherian, I came home on the 24th with painful and large blisters on my feet, but that did not stop me from frolicking in the city streets of Beijing. So moving to the 25th of March, my mother, sister and I met with a good friend of ours, Tita Connie and her son, JM, who was visiting. We had some Fish and Chips over at SanLiTun‘s Fish Nation near Bar Blu and 3.3 Mall. After that we headed over to this place beside Crepanini for some Red Velvet Cupcakes.

It was the most delightful thing I have ever tasted. I have never had a red velvet cupcake before because I just didn’t like eating a lot of sweets and cakes and pastries. I don’t have much of a sweet tooth. But I decided to try it anyway. I must admit that it was THE most amazing thing I have ever had in my entire existence! It was just too good. I think I have converted over to the dark side… or should I say the “red” side?

I know I’m not much of a photographer. I just enjoy trying to capture the world as how I see it.

Cravings for Lamb: FULFILLED!

For the past year I have been craving for yangrou Chuan’r or known in English as Lamb Skewers.
I told my dad this, so tonight he took me to the XinJiang Restaurant (Chinese Muslim Restaurant) and had a few YangRou Chuan’r and more.

Greens, Soup, Tofu Chicken Breakfast with the Family

In the past I thought that I will never be able to stand Chinese food everyday. But living with my Dad, Renee, and Emma proved to be a different story.
You see back in the Philippines I was so bored with food. Even eating out was no thrill. Nothing was able to surprise or satisfy my cravings for good, new and different food.

For almost a week now I have been eating Home Cooked Chinese food everyday and I have to admit I love it! I love the fact that its 70% Vegetables and 30% meat. As you all might know I am the Author of  Thinspirational Journey  so eating good, healthy “thinspo” food is something I want to do.

So here are a few photos of what I had this morning.

So as you can see it is pretty healthy. The first photo is not pork okay? Its Chicken and Tofu in a special Chinese sauce.

I love this kinds of food. I have been feeling great on the inside.

Speaking of feeling great, even my Step Sister Emma loves veggies. I was able to take a few photos of her and managed to take one whilst smiling.

Lunch at Navena

Last Feb 20 my sister Dana, and I had lunch out to celebrate our reunion in Beijing. We ate lunch at Navena Cafe.

This is what I had. A Navena Sandwhich with salad

Dana had  abreakfast platter because he said she loves breakfast even if it was already lunch time.

It was all good.

sorry for the brief post.

cheers!

Flight: I Love Airline Food

Hey guys! How are you? It’s been almost 4 days and I haven’t been able to post anything due to inaccessibility of certain sites here in Beijing, China. But it’s okay. Right now I am using Renee’s iPad to write this post and I am using the wordpress app for the iPad so it the formatting is a bit different form what we are used to seeing, I apologize.

Anyway, the flight to beijing via Cathay pacific was a very pleasant one. Let me share with you all some photos that I took through out the duration of my flight.

I left the house pretty early to get to the airport avoiding the traffic jam. And also to beat the long check in lines and what not. Once I got to my gate I decided to have breakfast at KopiRoti.

Funny thing is, I never eat at KopiRoti anywhere but the airport. Hahaha!

This was my breakfast. KopiRoti kaya toast, soft boiled eggs and a nice hot choco

After waiting for a bit, since our flight was delayed by just a few minutes, we finally boarded the plane. And upon finding my seat and after everyone was settled the cabin crew and the captain, gave us a warm welcome and performed the flight safety demonstration.

Then shortly after I immediately played around my in flit entertainment screen thingy

Yes. Played bejeweled for some time and then I watched A Tribute To Steve Jobs

The flight from Manila to Hong Kong was fairly short. Upon arrival in HKG INTL AIRPORT we transferred planes.

One thing I like about flying with Cathay Pacific is airline food. Yeap you heard that right. In really love the Cathay Pacific airline food. Here are a few snap shots of what I had during my flight from HongKong to Beijing

After the scrumptious meal I filled up my arrival card

Staying inside the plane for about 5 ish hours can get pretty boring so I decided to just watch tv and talk to my seat mates and take photos. Here is my favorite shot throughout my entire HongKong to Beijing flight

This post is long overdue, and I apologize. But I do hope that you enjoyed this post as much as. Did.

I hope I get to blog more often than this. I promise t do my best to fit everything in my now busy schedule.

Cheers!!
